Artist Biography

Starting life in a small town in Oklahoma brought a perfect storm of adventure and exploration to the life of this photographer. Left to discover the world on her own whims, she was prone to finding projects. One day, she found an old Pentax with a broken lens. Jennifer managed to finagle a lens and repair it herself, and a life-long photographer was born.

Jennifer gravitated towards the natural world, and graduated away from small town life into a technology filled future. Her only requests as a child were for the latest technology to explore photography and manipulation of those images. The technical side of photography, along with a passion for the natural, colors her work to this day. Moving frequently fostered wanderlust and taking great joy in adventure. Her work is punctuated by far flung locations and rarely seen images. A seemingly normal landscape turns into bright and bold artistic vision that captures the feeling of nature, not just a representation of such.
